Colour

Radiant amber-gold with a warm copper glow.

Nose

Opulent sherried bouquet of ripe dark fruit—figs and raisins—with warm toffee and caramel. Toasted almond and baking spices mingle with soft oak, hints of cocoa and coffee. A velvety, inviting aroma that promises sweetness, polish, and a lingering, oak-driven finish.

Palate

Silky, well-balanced on the palate, with luscious dried fruit, toffee and vanilla caramel weaving through creamy oak. Subtle sherry notes add depth, complemented by cocoa, almond and a gentle spice that keeps it refined. The finish is smooth and medium-long, leaving a polished, lightly sugared warmth.

Finish

Long, satin-smooth finish that slowly releases warm spice, toasted oak and a whisper of sherry richness. Dark fruit, vanilla and cocoa drift softly, with a refined oak-driven tail. Persistent, balanced and elegant.

Bell’s traces its roots to Arthur Bell, a Perth wine and spirits merchant who began vatting malt whiskies together in 1851 to create a more consistent blended Scotch. The “Extra Special” trademark was registered in 1895 and later appeared with the Bell’s name in 1904, becoming the basis of the long-running Bell’s blend. Blair Athol, founded in 1798, became closely tied to the brand after Arthur Bell & Sons acquired the distillery in 1933.
