Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Fresh orchard pear and green apple rise from the glass, framed by honeyed vanilla and a soft malt aura. Sherry-led sweetness—raisin, fig, a trace of cocoa—drifts over toasted oak. Warming spices—nutmeg, cinnamon—accent with almond and orange zest, leaving a bright, lingering finish.
Palate
Opulent and warming, the palate coats with glossy toffee and dark fruit. Sherry bestows dried fig, raisin and sultana, brightened by orange zest, vanilla and a touch of cocoa. Velvet mouthfeel, honeyed oak, and a lingering spice carry into a long, elegant finish.
Finish
An exceptionally long, satin-soft finish that lingers with rich sherry sweetness and toasted oak. Dried apricot and fig unfold beside cocoa nibs and almond, lightly spiced, then slowly fade to a warm, refined vanilla echo.
