Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery edges and a honeyed glow, evocative of sunlit whiskey in a crystal decanter.
Nose
Silky honeyed orchard fruits—pear and apple—are lifted by vanilla and a touch of toffee. Sherry-driven notes bring dried fig and raisin, with almond, gentle spice, and a hint of cacao. Elegant, fresh and warming, it promises a refined, lingering sweetness.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied and gently perfumed, this Aultmore opens with honeyed malt and sherry-soaked fruit—figs, raisins and orange zest—balanced by vanilla and toasted almond. Spiced notes rise on the mid-palate, with cocoa and a subtle oak dryness, leaving a creamy, nutty impression.
Finish
A long, refined finish that glides from orchard fruit and vanilla into toasted oak, with a whisper of spice and a persistent, delicate sweetness that lingers gracefully.
