Ailsa Bay is the first Whisky to have an analysed measurement of sweetness identified and also the only Scotch to undergo a process called micro maturation.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale gold with a delicate honeyed glow and a whisper of amber at the rim.
Nose
Fresh wood smoke lingers, with smouldering damp heather and an extinguished bonfire, then a wave of oaky sweetness and vanilla oak, finished by candied orange peel.
Palate
Beautifully balanced peat and rich vanilla oakiness. An intriguing flavour meandering between smoke, fruit and creamy toffee. This extra maturation period has developed deeper toasty oak notes with every sip.
Finish
An elegant finish where oaky sweetness lingers, tempered by peaty dryness; vanilla and subtle smoke fade slowly, leaving a refined, lasting impression.
