Colour
Deep golden amber with a warm, honeyed glow and subtle coppery highlights.
Nose
Golden and sweet on the nose, this Aberfeldy pours honeyed orchard fruit—ripe apples and pears—welcomed by vanilla and a layer of toffee. Sherry-influenced depth brings dried fig and raisin, with warm spice, almond, and a subtle oak varnish that hints at luxurious cask maturity.
Palate
Silky, honeyed malt with orchard fruit and vanilla. Sherry-cask warmth yields fig, raisin and cocoa, wreathed in cinnamon and nutmeg. Creamy mid-palate, oak-structured, finishing long with toffee and a subtle drying spice.
Finish
Long, warming and refined, the finish spills honeyed orchard fruit into a rich sherried sweetness, with dark raisin, treacle and spice lingering on the palate. Oak tannins soften to a satiny fade, leaving a nutty-vanilla echo and a final whisper of cacao.
