Aberfeldy Flora & Fauna Single Malt Scotch Whisky Miniature 15 Year Old
Out of stock
Flora and Fauna, nicknamed by the late whisky writer, Michael Jackson, was a themed series of distillery only single malt whisky releases. Each distillery was given a particular creature as its symbol, which is elegantly displayed on each bottle's beautiful label.
Gradually as distilleries were commercialised, closed or sold, the range of Flora and Fauna contracted, leaving these select remaining bottles collectable. Most often blended, whisky from each of these distilleries is rarely bottled as single malt, making each bottle from this collection even more rare.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich burnished gold with warm amber and coppery edges.
Nose
Honeyed orchard fruit leads, ripening into vanilla-sweet malt and toffee. Subtle sherry reveals dried fruit and almond, while soft spice and oak lend polish, delivering a velvety, inviting profile that hints at the 15-year maturation.
Palate
Silky, honeyed on the palate, this Aberfeldy 15 unfurls orchard fruit—pear and peach—tucked in creamy vanilla and malt. Subtle sherried raisin and toffee deepen the sweetness, while ginger spice and nutty oak emerge mid-palate. Velvet mouthfeel with balanced sweetness leads to a warm, extended finish of fruit, spice and refined oak.
Finish
Silky, long finish. A warm honeyed sweetness lingers, braided with dried fruit and orange zest, then deepened by sherry. Nutmeg and clove drift through gentle oak, finishing with cocoa and malt sweetness that lingers in velvet warmth.
