Originally released in 2015, the 15 Year Old WhistlePig Rye is a 100% Rye whiskey finished in Vermont oak casks from trees grown on the farm. The tight grain and heavy char produce a nuanced flavour and rich sweetness that compliments the natural spice of well aged rye. The result is rich, complex, and velvety smooth with an abundance of sweet oak spice, menthol, and lush citrus notes.

WhistlePig began in 2007, when co-founder Wilco Faessen and a small group of partners bought a run-down dairy farm in Shoreham, Vermont. Dave Pickerell, the former Maker’s Mark master distiller, helped shape the whiskey programme, and the distillery officially opened on the 500-acre farm in 2015. The Shoreham site remains central to WhistlePig, with rye growing, distilling, ageing and bottling brought together in one place.
