Westport is not itself a distillery, but instead Glenmorangie combined with a teaspoon of another distillery – this is commonly referred to as a teaspoon malt.
Based on the novel John Macnab, in which three well respected members of society challenge themselves to take a stag, a salmon and a brace of grouse within 48 hours. Heroes & Heretics have sourced a beautiful 15 year old Westport single cask to celebrate the tradition of the Macnab.
Like the setting of the John Macnab novel, Glenmorangie is rooted firmly in the Highlands of Scotland.

Apple and pear mingle with creamy vanilla, zesty citrus and a hint of barley—a bright, inviting nose with sweetness and a subtle grain.

Honey and peaches wash across the tongue, brightened by warming allspice, with toasted oak adding depth and a softly spiced, enduring finish.
Finish
Honeyed sweetness lingers, bright citrus lifting the finish as the final notes fade with warm, sunlit grace.
