This new release from Ireland has nothing to do with the film of the same name with John Wayne but refers to John Mulgrew, 50 years a bartender who used to keep his customers secrets, hence the Quiet Man behind the bar!
Aged in Ex -Bourbon casks and then finished in first fill Bourbon casks for even more fresh and creamy vanilla oak.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey tones and a creamy, warm glow.
Nose
Lime marmalade on vanilla toast with a hint of mojito sweetness from sugar syrup, pear drops and fresh-cut grass or barley. A delicate cereal note with almond milk rounds the aroma.
Palate
On the palate, bright lime curd opens the profile, followed by white chocolate truffles and apple bon bons. Sour pear drops lend a tangy lift, while marzipan and barley sugar weave a soft, creamy sweetness that lingers.
Finish
Long, creamy finish with vanilla sponge and lime curd at the fore, evolving into custard and white chocolate, then pear and apple bonbons, citrus sherbet, and lingering boiled sweets.
