Colour

Bright straw-gold with a delicate amber warmth

Nose

Bright pear and apple mingle with vanilla, honey and creamy toffee. Subtle almond and soft spice ride on a gentle malt sweetness, while delicate oak adds structure. A whisper of dried fruit and cocoa from sherry cask influence deepens the aroma with caramelized warmth.

Palate

Silky and balanced on the palate, creamy vanilla and honeyed orchard fruit lead, with a touch of almond. Subtle sherry spice and soft oak weave through the sweetness, finishing warm, refined, and lingering.

Finish

Silky and medium-long, the finish unfolds with spiced toffee and orange zest, a soft sherry whisper, and warm oak. Dried fruit and almond notes linger, slowly fading into honeyed sweetness and a gentle, lingering warmth.

Tamnavulin
(Tam-na-VOO-lin) Tamnavulin opened in 1966 in the village of Tomnavoulin, beside the River Livet in the foothills of the Cairngorms. The purpose-built distillery stands on the site of a 16th-century carding mill, and the old wooden water wheel still appears on the brand’s bottles. After closing in 1995 during the industry downturn, the distillery reopened for testing in 2000, underwent a major refurbishment in 2007, and changed the shape of its stills in 2010.
