Certified Organic with non chill filtering and natural colour practiced at Hven distillery as well.
This edition is a medium peated single malt aged in heavily charred Missouri American oak and medium toasted French oak casks.
This has dark mysyical notes of leather, liquorice, ripe plums, apple, honeydew barley meadows, elderflower and well balanced smoke.
Named after a famous Swedish astronomer Tycho Brahe (1546-1601) who's statue graces the island Of Hven and depicts his artificial copper nose after he lost his own in a duel!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a coppery glow.
Nose
Dark mystical notes of leather, liquorice, ripe plums, apple, honeydew and barley meadows with elderflower, all carried by a well-balanced smoke.
Palate
On the palate, Spirit of Hven Tycho’s Star delivers a smoothly layered, medium-peat profile. Leather and liquorice weave with ripe plum and crisp apple, brightened by honeydew and elderflower. Heavily charred Missouri oak and medium-toast French oak lend a plush, slightly oily texture with subtle spice, finishing in well-balanced smoke and lingering sweetness.
Finish
A long, refined finish that lingers with smoky peat, charred oak and leather, tempered by licorice and dark plum. Apple and elderflower drift through, ending with a gentle, warming fade.
