Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber.
Nose
A lively, fruit-forward aroma: strawberry jam with mixed peel and banana cake, edged by sultana scones and apricot glaze, lifted by waxy orange Muscat wine and delicate summery floral blossoms.
Palate
Fat, juicy grape and green fig lead the palate, braided with herbal blossom honey and waxy orange. Dried fruit drenched in muscat pudding wine rounds out the sweetness, with a lift of white pepper and ginger spice.
Finish
Ripe fruit medley of melon, grape, sultana and apricot lingers with fragrant blossom honey, followed by buttery sponge cake and a whisper of fig jam, leaving a warm, honeyed finish with subtle spice.
