Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose with sun-dried figs, dates and raisins, orange zest and toasted almond. Rich vanilla, honey and toffee weave with cocoa and seasoned oak, while cinnamon, clove and a whisper of leather lend warmth and depth.
Palate
Rich, velvety palate of sherried fruit—plum, fig and raisin—with orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate. Cinnamon and clove spice weave through plush oak, delivering a full-bodied, luxurious mouthfeel. A long, warming finish of sweet depth, fading to coffee-kissed nuances and polished oak.
Finish
Silky, long finish with sherry sweetness and oak spice. Dried fig and prune mingle with cocoa and orange zest, fading to toasted almond and a whisper of pepper, leaving a velvet, lingering warmth.
