Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with a warm copper glow and a subtle mahogany edge.
Nose
Salted caramel and toffee apple lead, with pollen and fudgy wudgy, browning pear and bright notes of sweet lemon and honey, finishing in a subtle hint of Himalayan musk.
Palate
Very buttery on the palate, it opens with honeyed flapjacks, pale ale, ginger and pear. The sweetness gives way to black pepper, red apples and a note of fresh oak, delivering warmth, depth and a lingering, refined finish.
Finish
Sweet lemon echoes through the finish, carried by pear fruit with a subtle, mouth-watering acidity that lingers softly, leaving a crisp, citrus-touched closure.
