For over two centuries this Scotch sanctuary has woven a whisky tale that’s steeped in history. Standing upon fertile farmland on the Cawdor Estate in the Scottish Highlands lies Royal Brackla Distillery, founded by Captain William Fraser in 1812.
A distillery quite literally Fit for a King, Royal Brackla was the first Scotch whisky ever granted a Royal Warrant, by King William IV in 1833 – The King’s Own Whisky, still reigning true today. The distillery's style is opulent and fruity with rich sherried notes.
Every expression of Royal Brackla is finished in the finest first-fill sherry casks, sourced directly from Spain to ensure an opulent outcome for a noble drink.

Opulent Oloroso spice and sun-bright fruit on the nose: ripe peaches and black cherries mingle with chocolate-covered almonds and muscovado sugar. Hints of toasted oak weave through a warm sherry sweetness, delivering a regal, inviting aroma that speaks of first-fill cask maturity.
Palate
Opulent, full-bodied and smoothly spiced, the palate unfurls ripe peach and black cherry fruit, intertwined with chocolate-covered almonds and muscovado sugar. First-fill Oloroso sherry lends a warm, velvety sweetness that lingers into a refined, extended finish.
Finish
Opulent and long, the finish lingers with Oloroso warmth and regal spice. Dried fruit, velvety nuttiness, and muscovado sweetness echo notes of ripe peach and black cherry, crowned by chocolate-covered almonds—an enduring, sumptuous fade.
