Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich amber-gold with a coppery glow and sun-warmed honey depth.

Nose

Dry peaty notes mingle with creamy sweetness and a touch of spice, lifted by Highland peat smoke. A refined, inviting aroma that lingers with gentle warmth.

Palate

Silky and creamy on the palate, it carries dry peat with a gentle smoke, tempered by vanilla-cream sweetness. Spices emerge mid-palate, weaving through the malt, as a warm, smoky glow lingers into a refined finish.

Finish

Smoke-kissed and long, the finish lingers with delicate peat over creamy vanilla and toffee. A subtle spice spark rises, leaving a warm, peppery glow and a final whisper of toasted oak.

Monkey Shoulder
Monkey Shoulder is a blended malt Scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons, created with a strong connection to Speyside malt whisky. The name refers to an old term used for a shoulder strain once associated with malt men who turned barley by hand.
