Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany hues and coppery highlights.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma fills the glass: prunes, figs and sultanas weave with dark chocolate, toffee and toasted almond. Hints of orange zest, cinnamon and vanilla rise over polished oak, delivering a warm, aged sweetness and a richly indulgent bouquet.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, the palate glides through dark dried fruits—fig, raisin, date—paired with toasted almond and cacao. Sherry oak lends a rich sweetness and polished spice—cinnamon, clove—while a velvety, oily texture coats the tongue. The finish is long, with orange zest, toffee and a final whisper of espresso.
Finish
Silky and persistently long, the finish unfurls layers of dried fig and raisin, braided with rich sherry. Cocoa, toffee and almond linger, while cinnamon and clove spice threads through. A velvet oak sweetness fades to a nutty, orange zest finale that invites another sip.
