Named after one of the islands on Loch Lomond, Inchmurrin is an extremely fruity whisky. Produced in the straight-necked pot stills, the new make flows out of the still at a staggering 85% alcohol-by-volume.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden honey with warm amber undertones and a sun-kissed glow.
Nose
Bright orchard fruit leads with peach and pear, lifted by floral pear-drop notes, vanilla and a hint of fudge. Madeira adds marzipan and nutmeg for a dry, nutty lift. Grassy freshness underpins subtle tropical fruit and citrus, finished with a poised oak backbone that invites closer inspection on the nose.
Palate
Across the trio, the palate evolves: Madeira Wood Finish delivers peach and pear with marzipan and nutmeg, finishing dry and nutty with long oak. The 12 Year Old adds grassy brightness, pear drops, vanilla and fudge, with creme caramel. The 18 Year Old contributes a bold oak backbone, summer grass, tropical fruit and zesty citrus. A refined progression from orchard fruit to toasted, well-integrated oak.
Finish
An elegant trio of finishes unfolds: Madeira-dry, nutty oak with peach and pear, marzipan and nutmeg; a creamy vanilla-fudge fade from bourbon-recharred casks; and a long, citrusy, tropical-brushed oak finale that evolves with each sip.
