Finished and blended by one of Ireland's most well respected Master Distillers, Darryl McNally, Limavady is a single barrel Irish Whiskey finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, bottles at 46% and triple distilled.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with a coppery glow and mahogany depth.

Nose

Rich and fruity on the nose, with luscious dark fruit—raisin, fig and prune—braiding with candied orange zest. A subtle Pedro Ximénez sherry influence lends a treacly sweetness to toasted oak, while vanilla tones and a whisper of spice add warmth.

Palate

Dark chocolates entwine with rich dried fruits and warming winter spices, delivering a velvety, indulgent palate with a comforting, lingering warmth.

Finish

Velvety, enduring finish weaving dark chocolate, dried fruits and warming spices with a kiss of Pedro Ximenez sweetness. Rich and smooth, it lingers gracefully, inviting another sip.
