Colour

Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge, a warm, sherried glow.

Nose

Concentrated coastal peat smoke with sea-spray and iodine, warmed by sherry richness. Dried fig, raisin and cocoa mingle with roasted almond and coffee bean, while leather, spice and a resinous oak lift the aroma into a polished maritime darkness.

Palate

Full-bodied and velvety, it coats the palate with peat smoke and sherry sweetness. Dried fig, plum, and dark chocolate mingle with espresso, while clove, cinnamon, and black pepper spark the mid-palate. Salty maritime notes and polished oak frame the finish, which is long, warming, and subtly fruity with lingering peat and cocoa.

Finish

Long, noble finish of coastal peat and smoke, braided with indulgent sherried sweetness. Dried fruits, dark chocolate and a hint of leather unfold, trailing into warm, resinous oak as brine and iodine wash over the palate in a lasting maritime echo.
