This momentous King of Scots 50 Years Old limited edition holds a historic importance within Douglas Laing’s 75th Anniversary celebrations. Douglas Laing has a long-standing heritage of blending – a passion and skill has been passed down through three generations and is deeply rooted in The King of Scots brand – the one that started it all for Fred Douglas Laing back in 1948 and still wears the crown of quality today!

This rich, refined and extremely rare recipe champions the art of blending with an extremely special selection of Douglas Laing’s oldest and finest casks to unveil the pinnacle of Premium Blended Scotch Whisky. Delve into this deliciously dynastic dram which Cara and Fred believe displays more than five decades of the blender’s art and skill.

Tasting notes: On the nose detect juicy apricots, orchard fruits and a rich, cereal sweetness. The palate reveals custard cream, honey’d malt and dried fruit style. The finish lingers on and on with charred oak, vanilla pods and toffee apples.
