Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a coppery glow and a dusky mahogany edge, radiating warm, sherried richness.
Nose
Bright citrus and orchard fruit rise over a creamy malt with toffee and vanilla. A whisper of sea spray and saline air threads through, while sherry-influenced dried fruit, cocoa and spice deepen the aroma, finishing warm and inviting.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with sherry sweetness layering dried plum, fig and toffee, balanced by walnut and dark chocolate. A saline hint nods to Jura’s maritime character, while gentle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—lifts the profile. Oak provides warmth as the finish deepens into caramel, with a softly briny, lingering aftertaste.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with sherry influence lingering over dried fruit, fig, and walnut. Gentle cocoa and spice unfold beside warm oak, while a whisper of sea-salt and malt carry the finish into a refined, enduring warmth.
