Tasting Notes
Colour
Amber-gold with copper highlights and a subtle mahogany edge, warm and luminous as sunset glass.
Nose
Opulent sherry notes with plump raisins and dried fig, orange zest and dark cocoa, toasted almond. Cinnamon and clove warmth over rich oak, vanilla and praline. A whisper of leather and smoke adds depth, hinting at a refined, long-lived finish.
Palate
Silky and generous on the palate, with raisin and fig sweetness balanced by dark chocolate, caramel and toffee. Sherry-cask depth brings dried-fruit warmth, while cocoa, cinnamon and clove spice mingle with a whisper of smoke and velvety oak. The finish is long and refined, with espresso-like bitterness and orange zest lingering.
Finish
Luxurious and long, the finish unfurls with dark fruit and cocoa, underscored by sherry-soaked sweetness and toasted oak. Fig and raisin linger, touched by subtle spice and a whisper of smoke, fading to a warm, refined oak glow.
