Jack Daniel's Mr Jack's 150th Birthday Limited Edition Whiskey
Out of stock
A limited edition bottling to commemorate the 150th birthday of Mr Jack Daniel. Bottled back in 2000 and is now a must-have for all Jack Daniel's collectors.
Every year during the month of September the Jack Daniel Distillery celebrates the birthday of its founder. This celebration lasts the entire month, rather than just one day, because no one is completely certain on what date Jack Daniel was actually born. Birth certificates were not commonly issued at the time and unfortunately no official document exists today to prove his exact date of birth. There are, however, three dates that come up often among Jack Daniel’s collectors and enthusiasts.
The first birthday bottle produced by the Distillery celebrated Jack’s 150th birthday, despite being released one year early in 1999. Filled with 90 proof whiskey, this bottle was sold without a box, but it does come with a branded hang tag. It comes in three different sizes (750ml, 1 Litre, 1.75 Litre) and the larger the bottle, the harder it is to come by.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, sunlit amber with copper-bronze highlights and a warm, honey-gold glow.
Nose
Caramelized vanilla and toasted oak rise with a soft, silky sweetness. Hints of orange zest, brown sugar and toasted maple mingle with subtle charcoal, spice and a whisper of leather. A refined, collector-worthy bouquet that promises warmth, depth and the timeless charm of Jack Daniel’s heritage.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied on the palate, with vanilla-tinged caramel sweetness tempered by toasted oak. Subtle spice—cinnamon and clove—builds smoothly, aided by the Tennessee mellowing, delivering a warm, refined mouthfeel that lingers with caramel, oak and a touch of cocoa.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with warm vanilla and caramel, deeply toasted oak and a kiss of cocoa; spice lingers as a silky sweetness persists, fading slowly to a whisper of char and cedar.
