The 1st bottle in this series celebrated the founder and first Master Distiller, Jack Daniel, who was the Master Distiller from 1866 to 1911. Mr. Jack left home at an early age and went to live with a local minister who taught him the art of marking and mellowing fine whiskey.
Making its debut in September of 2012, this new series celebrates the 6 Master Distillers throughout the history of the Jack Daniel Distillery.
Available in 2 sizes (700ml & 1L), each bottle is filled with 86 proof whiskey. They are also each individually numbered and sold in a collectible box. For display purposes, when 2 boxes are put side-by-side they complete an image of the Master Distiller being commemorated.

Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
The nose opens with warm vanilla and caramel, draped over toasted oak. Subtle notes of brown sugar and orange zest mingle with a whisper of charcoal-filtered sweetness, while a gentle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—adds depth, creating a refined, inviting Tennessee whiskey aroma.
Palate
Silky and inviting on the palate, with warm vanilla and caramel sweetness threaded through toasted oak. Subtle corn notes lend mellow richness, while wisps of spice—cinnamon and cloves—provide definition. A bright citrus zest hints at balance, leading to a long, honeyed finish that is softly smoky with enduring oak.
Finish
Silky and long, the finish trails caramel and vanilla through toasted oak, lightly spiced and softly smoky from charcoal mellowing. A warm, creamy glow lingers, inviting another thoughtful sip.
