Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery reflections, a burnished, sunlit hue that hints at oak
Nose
Bold, warm, and inviting: caramel and vanilla unfold over toasted oak with a kiss of char. Rich brown sugar and molasses mingle with orange zest and festive spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—while a subtle leather note and cedar add depth. A resinous, holiday finish hints at Christmas barrel magic.
Palate
Silky and lush, this Tennessee whiskey coats the palate with caramel and vanilla sweetness, balanced by toasted oak. Subtle spice—cinnamon and clove—lifts a soft, charcoal-mellowed backbone, while notes of toffee and dark fruit deepen the body. The finish is long and warm, with spice, cocoa, and a hint of orange zest.
Finish
Long and warming, this finish drapes vanilla and caramel in velvet sweetness, folds in toasted oak and subtle spice, and lingers with a gentle char. A silky, festive warmth stays on the palate, inviting another measured sip.
