Jack Daniel's Barrel House No. 1 - Batch 001 Whiskey

Please note the wooden door on the box is slightly warped but still closes OK.
Barrel house 1 is one of the oldest warehouses at the Distillery. Built as one of the first post-Prohibition warehouses and located on a tall hill overlooking the Distillery grounds, its seven-story design was found to be the ideal elevation for ageing of whiskey.
This 750ml bottle, released in 1994, commemorates the heritage of Barrel house 1. And due to changes in Tennessee law, it was the first bottle of Jack Daniel’s to be legally sold at the Distillery (and in Lynchburg) since 1909. This bottle also features the original specially made wooden presentation box.

Deep amber with honey-gold highlights and a warm coppery glow.

Silky and generous, this whiskey pours with caramel sweetness, vanilla and toasted oak. Brown sugar mingles with orange zest as gentle spice—cinnamon and rye pepper—lifts the palate with a bright note. The finish is warm and long, with a subtle smoke and refined oak.
Finish
Silky vanilla and caramel unfurl into toasted oak, with a warm spice glow that lingers elegantly. A bright note of citrus and almond threads through the tail, fading to a refined, honeyed warmth that remains on the palate.
