Released 2016

Officially registered with the US Government in 1866, the Distillery still sits at the Cave Spring Hollow where Jack first made his distillery official.
Filled with 100 proof whiskey, this decanter is available only in a 1 Litre size.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Rich and inviting, this nose opens with caramelized butterscotch and toffee, velvety vanilla, and charred oak. A whisper of charcoal mellowing softens the sweetness, while citrus zest and a touch of spice lift the bouquet. The elevated 50% delivers a hint of depth, suggesting warm, candied richness that nods to heritage.
Palate
Silky and robust on the palate, this edition pours with creamy butterscotch and toffee, bound by vanilla and toasted oak. The 50% strength adds a confident bite that unfolds into warm spices—cinnamon, candied orange—while balanced sweetness coats the mouth with a long, resonant finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish with rich butterscotch and toffee, slowly fading into vanilla sweetness and soft oak. Subtle spice and a whisper of toasted oak linger on the palate, delivering a velvety warmth that persists, echoing the bottle’s bold 50% strength without harshness.
