Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold sheen and mahogany edges, a sunset-warm glow.
Nose
Opulent, fruit-forward aroma of raisin, fig and dark cherry braided with rich toffee. Hints of orange zest and almond lift the center, while sherry notes deliver cocoa, cinnamon and a touch of cedar. A whisper of vanilla sweetness and light oak round out a luxurious, inviting bouquet with depth and refinement.
Palate
Ripe dried fruits and cocoa mingle with tangy orange zest as sherry sweetness coats the tongue. Velvet, oily texture delivers bread-crust richness, while warm spice: cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and subtle oak linger into a softly dry, long finish.
Finish
An enduring, velvety sherry finish that clings with dried fruit, cocoa and toffee. Raisin and fig mingle with warm spice as cinnamon and clove trail the tail, slowly fading into toasted oak and a refined sweetness that lingers long after the sip.
