The Glenturret Peated Edition combines both the unpeated Glenturret spirit with heavily peated spirit known as Ruadh Maor. This expression delivers definitive smoke and light spice aromas before developing into an array of maturing fruit and smoldering peat flavours on the palate. This edition is crafted in small batches, with less than 60 casks hand selected to create this unique dram per batch.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with coppery highlights and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Peat smoke entwined with thick citrus fruits. A layered aroma that teases the nose, as smoke drifts in and out with cask-toasting and the warmth of peat. A playful, respectful hint of toffee apple sits alongside clean oak, with vanilla and light spices emerging softly late.
Palate
Sweet and spice weave with thick vanilla, pairing with maturing fruit as if in a bowl of ripe fruit. Ginger flickers in and out, resting on a bed of peat. The peat remains subtle at first, deepening to reveal a gentle smokiness. The oak stays soft, underscoring the distillery’s spirit and the measured peating.
Finish
Mouth-coating finish that is soft and smoky, lingering with gentle warmth and a whisper of sweetness.
