The Glenturret Peated Edition combines both the unpeated Glenturret spirit with heavily peated spirit known as Ruadh Maor. This expression delivers definitive smoke and light spice aromas before developing into an array of maturing fruit and smoldering peat flavours on the palate. This edition is crafted in small batches, with less than 60 casks hand selected to create this unique dram per batch.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Peat smoke entwined with thick citrus fruits. A layered aroma that teases the nose, as smoke drifts in and out with cask-toasting and the warmth of peat. A playful, respectful hint of toffee apple sits alongside clean oak, with vanilla and light spices emerging softly late.
Palate
Sweet and spice, vanilla is thicker yet works well with maturing fruits, akin to a bowl of fruit. Ginger flits in and out, almost in a bed of peat. The peat is subtle initially but develops depth with a hint of smokiness. The oak itself is very soft reminding us of the importance of the distillery spirit and the peating importance.
