Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep coppery amber with mahogany undertones and a warm red-gold glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry influence unfurls in the glass: dark plum and fig cling to roasted almond, with raisins and cocoa drifting over cedar and leather. Hints of orange zest, spice (cinnamon, clove) and a whisper of tobacco mingle with oak, yielding a polished, velvety sweetness that promises depth and maturity.
Palate
Silky, sherry-driven palate with dark fruit, fig and prune, and a note of orange zest. Toasted almonds, cocoa and coffee mingle with rich spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—over velvety oak. A luxurious, creamy mouthfeel leads to a long, warming finish.
Finish
Long, refined finish with luxurious dried fruit sweetness, figs and dates, paired with dark chocolate, walnut and licorice. The ex-Sherry influence stays present, offering cinnamon and clove spice, a hint of orange zest, and polished oak. Warmth lingers softly, fading to a silky resin and balsamic whisper, leaving a lasting, dignified impression.
