Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In stock
A Special one-off limited edition bottling created from both ex-bourbon & Oloroso sherry casks, aged between 13-30 years old. These casks were stored in a warehouse which on the 7th January 2010, due to the weight of hundreds of tonnes of snow that had fallen in Speyside that winter, suffered from a collapsed roof.
A cult Whisky from the day it was first released and sure to be talked about for many many years to come. The follow up bottle to this is the Glenfidich 125th Anniversary bottling.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Dense, sun-kissed amber with a luminous copper-gold core and a whisper of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Opulent nose of vanilla and caramel from ex-bourbon casks, enriched by the depth of Oloroso sherry. Notes of raisin, fig and date intertwine with orange zest, almond paste and dark chocolate, while toasted oak, cinnamon and a whisper of leather add warmth and sophistication. A wintry, luxurious bouquet promising complexity.
Palate
Silky and richly layered on the palate, this whispers vanilla and oak from the ex-bourbon, brushed with the opulence of Oloroso sherry. Notes of dried fig, raisin and orange peel mingle with almond and toffee, while spice—cinnamon and clove—builds warmth. A velvety mid-palate gives way to a long, chocolatey finish with a lingering hint of nutty sweetness.
Finish
An expansive, luxurious finish that lingers with toffee and vanilla, enriched by sherry warmth. Dried orange peel, dark chocolate and spice unfold over velvety oak, followed by a whisper of smoke. It tapers to a long, refined glow of oak and fruit, leaving a soft ember of sweetness and lingering warmth.
