Tasting Notes
Colour
Burnished gold with warm amber depth and coppery glints, a sun-kissed glow.
Nose
Fresh pear and crisp apple rise from creamy vanilla and gentle oak, brightened by citrus zest. A soft sherry influence brings warm dried fruit, toffee, and almond, with a delicate spice and malt background.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate opening on ripe pear and orchard apple, deepening into dried fig and raisin from the sherry cask. Creamy vanilla and toffee lift toasted oak, while a whisper of nutmeg and cinnamon adds subtle spice. A long, warm finish lingers with almond, cocoa and lingering dried fruit notes.
Finish
Silky and long, the finish is sherry-kissed, with dark fig, raisin and plum, plus toasted almond and cocoa. Cinnamon and clove spice lingers as oak warmth softly fades into a refined afterglow.
