Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with mahogany depth and a glint of ruby-gold.
Nose
Soft and smooth, the nose opens with stewed fruits and traditional Scottish dumpling. A delicate thread of Speyside peat adds a light, earthy smokiness. The sweetness deepens into fruit compote and honeyed malt, wrapped in a quiet, opulent richness.
Palate
Dark chocolate laced with sherry-soaked dried fruits, a delicate spice bite and a bold thread of roasted coffee. Luxuriously coated in treacle toffee, it delivers a full-bodied, indulgent palate with lasting warmth.
Finish
A long, lingering finish that clings to the roof of the mouth. Delicate peat resurfaces, rolling across the tongue with a green, grassy echo of Speyside origins.
