Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a mahogany undertone, a warm, lacquered glow.
Nose
Opulent and poised, the nose unfurls orchard fruit and apricot with bright orange zest and caramel-vanilla warmth. Cognac-cask influence brings raisin sweetness, almond and toffee, woven with clove and nutmeg-spice and polished oak. Hints of cacao and leather add depth, finishing in refined, airy sweetness.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, with rich raisin, fig and orange zest fruit pairing toffee and vanilla from the cognac cask. Subtle spice - cinnamon and clove - and refined oak weave through creamy caramel-toned sweetness. The finish is long and luxurious, with drying dark chocolate and lingering dried fruit.
Finish
Long, opulent and seamless, the finish lingers with cognac-cask nuance—silky, fruit-driven warmth that folds into cocoa, honeyed vanilla, and toasted almond. Dried apricot and spice weave through a lingering, luxurious oak grip, leaving a refined, persistent glow.
