Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark, burnished amber with coppery glow and hints of mahogany, evoking the sherry-forward elegance of this Speyside release.
Nose
Opulent sherry dominates the nose, with dark fruits—raisins, figs, and sultanas—woven with orange zest, caramelized sugar and nutty tones. Rich oak, cinnamon and clove spice mingle, with cacao and toffee hints and a touch of rancio leather that whispers refined Speyside elegance.
Palate
Luxuriously velvety, the palate unfurls with prunes, raisins and fig drenched in toffee and dark chocolate. First-fill sherry lends spice, orange zest and almond, bound by refined oak. A long, warm, elegantly sweet finish, distinctly Speyside in character.
Finish
An enduring, velvet finish that lingers with refined warmth. Dried fig and orange peel mingle with toffee and dark chocolate, carried by luscious sherry oak. Cinnamon and gentle clove spice broadens the tail, tapering to polished oak and a final kiss of cocoa.
