Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-bronze hues and mahogany edges, a warm, sunlit glow suggestive of sherry maturity.
Nose
Fragrant and inviting: ripe orange zest and dried apricot rise over a bed of toffee and vanilla from well-integrated oak. Sherry impact brings prunes, raisin and fig, kissed with cinnamon and clove. A delicate almond nuttiness and a whisper of cocoa round out the aroma, silky and promising.
Palate
Silky on the palate, with honeyed orchard fruit, ripe pear and hints of apricot. Rich sherry influence brings dried fig, raisin, and cocoa, cushioned by nutty almond and toffee notes. Spices—cinnamon and faint clove—rise against toasted oak, finishing long and warmly.
Finish
Extends gracefully with dried fruit and fig notes, stewed plum and cocoa, touched by orange zest. Cinnamon and clove spice mingle with velvety sherry sweetness, while oak tannins fade to a warm, honeyed glow that lingers long after the sip.
