Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery sheen and mahogany-tinted edges.
Nose
Plump ripe strawberries drenched in rich vanilla cream mingle with gooseberry and pear. Butter shortbread notes unfold, giving way to delicate violets.
Palate
Smooth cracked black pepper greets the tongue, pairing with tangy rhubarb, brown sugar and toasted oats. Candied lime adds a bright lift before giving way to liquorice root, followed by subtle woody undertones that linger with a confident, warming finish.
Finish
Cocoa powder lingers with a charred oak edge, leaving a warm, cocoa-sweet finish that softly fades into toasted wood and subtle spice.
