Nose
Creme anglais hums with dried apricots, ripe melon and quince jelly, mingling with mixed peel and waxy citrus. A thread of spun sugar drapes Victoria sponge cake, lemon curd and mandarin jelly, unfolding a creamy, dessert-bright aroma that teases the palate with refined sweetness and summer fruit.
Palate
Fat, buttery mouthfeel coats the tongue, yielding a bright fruit salad of toffee, marmalade and lemon curd, with oily orange notes vying for attention and a lingering, gentle finish.
Finish
A juicy, fruity finish brimming with ripe melon, apricot and peach, kissed by waxy orange and a whisper of floral spice.
