Nose

Opulent sherry perfume floods the nose: raisin, fig, date, and candied orange peel meet dark plum and cherry, lacquered in rich toffee and cocoa. Oloroso depth with toasted almonds and hazelnuts, warmed by baking spices—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove. Leather, polished oak, and a whisper of tobacco add old-world elegance, hinting at the cask-strength intensity to follow.

Palate

Full-bodied and intensely sherried, the palate greets with raisin, fig, and stewed plum, draped in dark chocolate and treacle. Rich toffee, orange zest and leather mingle with cinnamon and clove as vanilla threads through the oak. A warming, lingering finish at cask strength.

Finish

A lush, sherry-kissed finish that lingers long and warm. Prune, fig and raisin unfold into cocoa, burnt sugar and polished oak, while cinnamon and clove spark spice and drift into espresso-bitter echoes. At full cask strength, the finish remains velvety yet assertive, with a lingering ember of dark fruit and Christmas cake.
