Nose
Opulent sherry-led bouquet with dark prunes and raisins, complemented by fig, orange peel and toffee. Rich cocoa and almond toast weave through vanilla-spice oak, a trace of coffee adding depth. Warm, elegant and inviting, the aroma hints at a refined, long finish to follow.
Palate
Silky and substantial, this 15-year Glen Ord delivers a sherried fruit core—orange peel, fig and raisin—with roasted almond and toffee. Velvet oak and warm spices of cinnamon and clove weave through a lush mouthfeel, with a touch of chocolate. A long, warming finish of gentle sweetness and caramel.
Finish
An elegant, lingering finish that slowly releases warmth and spice, woven with oak and subtle sweetness. Dark fruit, fig and cocoa emerge from sherry-cask influence, then soften into almond and leather as the sweetness fades, leaving a refined, long-tailed finish.
