Colour
A luminous golden amber with honeyed warmth and copper-tinged highlights.
Nose
Bright orchard fruits—apple and pear—meld with vanilla, honey, and a citrus zest. A whisper of oak and gentle spice add warmth and refinement to the aroma.
Palate
Silky and creamy on the palate, with honeyed vanilla and orchard fruit balanced by toasted malt. Sherry cask influence adds dried fruit, fig and almond, accented by gentle spice and subtle oak. Medium-bodied and round, it flows to a warm, enduring finish of caramel, nuts and a whisper of chocolate.
Finish
A medium-long finish of warm toffee and vanilla leads to dried red fruits, cocoa nibs and gentle spice, with a lingering nutty oak and subtle sweetness.
