Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery highlights and a luminous mahogany edge.
Nose
Sherried aromatics rise in a lush medley of fig, raisin and orange zest, with dark plum and honeyed vanilla. Cocoa, toasted almond and polished oak mingle with subtle leather and spice, while a delicate smoke threads through, finishing in a warm, resinous, long-lingering sweetness.
Palate
Silky and layered, it coats the palate with honeyed citrus, bruised pear and orchard fruits, then broadens into polished oak, almond and toffee. A lush brush of dried fig and cocoa from the sherry influence lingers, finishing long, elegant and warmly refined.
Finish
Extremely long and graceful, the finish pours a refined sherry sweetness that lingers with dried fig and orange zest, weaving through velvety oak. Nutty, cocoa-tinted depths unfold slowly, leaving a warm, spice-kissed glow that softly fades.
