Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry depth unfolds over polished oak, releasing dried fig and raisin alongside orange zest and toffee. Vanilla, almond and brown sugar weave through the aroma, with nutmeg and clove lending quiet spice, while a whisper of leather and tobacco signals a venerable, gracefully aged Speyside jewel.
Palate
Silky and progressively expressive, the palate opens with orchard fruit that ripens into dried fig and date, threaded with walnut and sherry nuance. Rich toffee, orange zest and warm spice unfold with quiet confidence, the sweetness impeccably integrated, building to a long, refined finish as the flavors deepen with time.
Finish
An exceptionally long, refined finish. Velvet-silk textures cradle notes of dried fruit, cocoa and toffee, with sherry-cask warmth lingering alongside gentle spice. Oak envelopes the palate, leaving a polished echo of nutty orange zest that gradually fades to a sophisticated, lingering glow.
