Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber with mahogany undertones and a burnished copper glow.
Nose
Opulent and inviting, the nose unfolds with dark orchard fruit and rich Sherry sweetness. Dried fig, date and raisin mingle with orange peel, burnt sugar and soft toffee, while walnut and almond lend a nutty depth. Spiced cedar, tobacco leaf and a whisper of espresso rise from polished oak, delivering a warm, luxurious aroma that hints at decades of patient cask maturation.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied with a refined sweetness. Velvet sherry notes of dark raisin and fig mingle with orange zest, honeyed vanilla and almond. Cocoa and toffee drift in, framed by gentle spice—cinnamon and clove—and a kiss of oak. The finish is long, warming, and subtly nutty.
Finish
Silky and remarkably persistent, the finish unfolds in slow, sherry-kissed waves. Dried fig and orange peel mingle with cocoa and toasted almond, waning into polished oak and vanilla-laced spice. A gentle, warming fade leaves a refined tannic bite and long, elegant memory of glossy sherry sweetness.
