Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery glow and mahogany edges, a warm, sherry-tinted glaze.
Nose
Rich sherry brightness envelops dried fruit and toasted nuts: fig, raisin, and apricot layered with orange zest, vanilla, and caramel. Oak whispers of polished leather and cedar, while subtle cocoa, treacle, and spice unfold in a refined, time-honed sweetness. Akin to a candlelit study in Speyside, poised, luscious, and inviting a long, contemplative breath.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with sherried depth: dark fig and raisin fruit, dates and orange zest, touched by cocoa, espresso and caramel. Oak yields gentle spice—cinnamon and clove—with a hint of almond. The finish is long and refined, revealing walnut, polished wood, and a warm, lingering sweetness.
Finish
An exceptionally long, refined finish, a warm sherried glow lingers, with dried fruits, fig and cocoa weaving through toasted oak, a whisper of spice, and a silky, persistent memory.
