Deep amber-gold with coppery mahogany edges, a warm, sunset hue that speaks of decades in sherry and oak.
Nose
Opulent and aged, this nose unfolds like a finely kept cabinet of curios. Dried fig and date mingle with orange marmalade, honeyed vanilla and almond praline. Sherry-matured oak lends polish—walnut, leather and a whisper of tobacco—while hints of cocoa and spice glow softly in the background. Elegant and contemplative, a refined prelude to the depth within.
Palate
Silky and expansive on the palate, this 72-year-old Glen Grant unfolds rich sherry-cask depth: raisin and fig sweetness interwoven with orange zest, almond and antique oak. Nutmeg and clove linger, supported by a waxy, velvety texture and a long, stately finish. Warm, refined and contemplative, it carries the memory of decades in a single cask.
Finish
Ultra-long, velvet finish that glides with warm refinement. Dried fig, dark chocolate and orange zest mingle with espresso and toffee, while oak and spice whisper in the background. A slow, elegant fade, with a softly nutty, sherried echo lingering in dignified serenity.
