Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper-gold glow and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Dark, sherried bouquet of dried figs and raisins, tempered by polished oak. Notes of toffee, cocoa and orange zest mingle with vanilla and a kiss of spice, revealing a refined sweetness with hints of leather.
Palate
Silky and velvety, with a sherried core of dried fruit: raisin, fig, prune, softened by toffee, dark chocolate, and toasted almond. Subtle spice emerges: clove, orange zest, a touch of cinnamon, bound by polished oak. The mouthfeel is warm and supple, finishing long with sweet, nutty sherry, coffee-like bitterness, and a lingering hint of leather.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish that lingers with velvet finesse. Dried fruit, orange zest and cocoa emerge first, then toasted almond and gentle spice. Sherry nuances deepen the sweetness, while oak warmth carries the very end with a refined hint of leather and tobacco.
