FEW Straight Rye Whiskey
In stock
Few are a craft distillery from Evanston, Illinois, a city that suffered Prohibition for over one hundred years and the distillery actually takes its name from the initials of Frances Elizabeth Willard, a key figure in the Temperance Movement.
The Rye here also uses Corn and malted Barley in the mashbill recipe.
A fun and funky rye that is big and bold enough to stand up to some classic rye cocktail recipes or just enjoyable straight.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a warm, honeyed depth and a subtle copper glow.
Nose
Minty tobacco rises with a cool, resinous edge, swathed in black cherry liquorice. Cumin spice threads through, with a curry powder and turmeric note, while black plum and grape lend dark, tempting fruit.
Palate
Minty chocolate opens the palate, followed by fruity tobacco and spicy raisin. Toasted spices mingle with black cherry cough drops, delivering a thick, oily body and a playful banana candy sweetness.
Finish
Long, cooling finish of evolving spice and menthol, as cherry liquorice dries into tobacco. Aromatic spices linger with a whisper of corn syrup, resting on toasted raisin pancakes.
