Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-tinged mahogany undertones and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Luxuriant sherry sweetness infuses the aroma, lifting dark fruit and spice. Prune, fig, and raisin mingle with orange zest and baked apple, while honeyed vanilla and toasted almond add warmth. Cinnamon and clove drift through, with toasted oak and a hint of coffee, yielding an inviting, opulent aroma.
Palate
Sherried richness coats the palate with dried figs, raisins and dates, entwined with dark chocolate, orange zest and toasted almond. A waxy, full mouthfeel carries cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spice, supported by polished oak and a whisper of toffee. The finish is long and warm, with mineral brightness and a suede-soft hint of tobacco.
Finish
Long, refined finish that fades from creamy fruit into warm sherry sweetness, with hints of dried fig, cocoa and toasted oak, and a gentle spice lingering warmly on the palate.
